The 21000 housing family is intended for installations where the proximity probe needs a defined mechanical mounting arrangement and environmental protection around the measurement point.

During maintenance, a damaged housing, compromised sealing, loose conduit connection or displaced probe can become a mechanical cause of an unstable monitoring channel. On critical rotating equipment, an unavailable or unreliable measurement channel can delay fault confirmation and increase the time required to return the machine to protected operation.
