Where It Matters in the Machine

The 200150 is intended for general-purpose machine vibration measurement at the casing or bearing-housing level. It is particularly relevant where changes in rotor vibration are transmitted effectively to the selected machine-housing measurement point.
Rotating Machinery
Suitable for general vibration monitoring points where casing acceleration reflects changes in rotor behavior.
Trendmaster Monitoring
The 200150 operates with Trendmaster ProTIM arrangements and also supports the Trendmaster 2000 system.
Maintenance Events
A failed sensor, unstable signal or unexpected vibration trend can trigger a replacement search when reliable monitoring is required.
WHY THE MOUNTING POINT MATTERS
Poor mounting can reduce amplitude and frequency response or introduce false signals. The sensor should therefore be installed on a suitable bearing housing or machine casing where the vibration of interest is effectively transmitted.
WHEN CUSTOMERS SEARCH
200150-09-CN
  • The installed accelerometer no longer produces a stable vibration signal.
  • A Trendmaster measurement point requires an exact replacement.
  • A damaged mounting arrangement requires the same Option 09 configuration.
  • Maintenance teams need to restore an established machine-vibration channel quickly.

DOWNTIME CONSIDERATION
Restore the Measurement Point
Loss of a dependable vibration channel can reduce the ability of a condition-monitoring system to trend machine behavior. On critical rotating equipment, restoring the correct sensing arrangement promptly helps maintain the intended monitoring chain.

20015x Series Positioning
The three accelerometer variants are intended for different measurement priorities.
Model Primary Use Frequency Range
200150 General application 10–1000 Hz
200155 Low-frequency / slow rotating applications 2–10,000 Hz
200157 Acceleration enveloping applications 10–10,000 Hz
The 200155 and 200157 variants should not be substituted simply because they belong to the same family. Their measurement characteristics serve different application requirements.

Purchase & Replacement FAQ

01
SELECTION
What should be checked before selecting 200150-09-CN as a replacement?
The replacement decision should consider the installed monitoring architecture, electrical interface, mechanical arrangement, and the exact configuration required by the machine protection system. Matching the complete part designation is preferable to selecting a visually similar component.
02
COMPATIBILITY
Why can a technically similar part still be unsuitable for an existing monitoring loop?
Similar appearance does not guarantee functional interchangeability. Interface characteristics, system configuration, mounting requirements, and the intended monitoring channel all need to correspond with the installed arrangement.
03
RELIABILITY
When does replacing this type of monitoring component become more urgent?
Urgency increases when an active monitoring channel becomes unreliable, produces abnormal readings, or prevents dependable machine-condition assessment. In critical rotating equipment, prolonged uncertainty can increase the risk of an unnecessary trip or delayed response to a developing mechanical problem.
04
DOWNTIME
What operational risk can arise when a required monitoring component is unavailable?
If the component is part of a machine protection or condition-monitoring chain, an unavailable replacement can extend troubleshooting and maintenance time. For critical rotating equipment, this may contribute to longer equipment downtime while the monitoring channel remains unavailable.
05
ORDERING
What details help reduce the risk of receiving the wrong replacement?
Providing the complete part number, required quantity, destination, required date, and the machine or system where the component will be installed allows the order to be evaluated against the actual application rather than the model number alone.
