Custom application power inside PLC-5

The MVI71-ADM is ProSoft Technology's C Programmable Application Development Module for the Rockwell Automation PLC-5 platform. It is a single-slot, 1771-backplane-compatible module that runs user-developed C applications inside the PLC chassis. It is designed for custom serial communications, rapid ASCII data handling and proprietary algorithms alongside the PLC processor.

The module provides three serial ports: P1 is an RS-232 debug/configuration port; P2 and P3 are isolated application ports configurable for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485.
