MVI69-ADM

The ProSoft MVI69-ADM places a user-developed C application inside a single 1769 rack slot. It gives CompactLogix and supported MicroLogix 1500 systems a practical path to custom ASCII communication, proprietary protocol handling and application-specific data processing.

MVI69-ADM runs a user-developed C application in a 1769 system so a controller can handle custom serial communications, proprietary protocols or specialized processing.

Ladder logic coordinates the controller input and output images while the module pages data through its internal database. Configurable 60, 120 or 240-word blocks support different transfer requirements.

It provides a configuration RS-232 port plus two isolated application ports. Each application port can be configured for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 operation.

The official ADM development materials provide an API and C-based workflow for building application logic while the module services manage backplane and serial hardware functions.

Confirm controller compatibility, slot and power planning, port electrical standard, pinout, direct or multidrop wiring, ladder data mapping and a tested backup of the C application.
