The HIMA F1 DI 16 01 is a HIMatrix remote I/O device equipped with 16 safety-related digital inputs. It is intended to extend the I/O level of a compatible HIMatrix or HIMax safety controller and communicates with the associated controller via SafeEthernet.
The input architecture supports line monitoring functions. Pulsed outputs can be used to support detection of short-circuits and open-circuits on digital input wiring, including safety-related emergency-stop circuits when correctly engineered and configured.
