RX3i Serial Communications Module — 2 Independent Ports

The GE IC695CMM002 is a PACSystems RX3i serial communications module designed to expand serial connectivity within an RX3i control system. It provides two independent, isolated serial ports that can be configured for serial communication functions including MODBUS Master, MODBUS Slave, CCM Slave, DNP3 Master, DNP3 Slave and Serial I/O, subject to the applicable module firmware and configuration environment.

Its combination of selectable RS-232 and RS-485/422 interfaces, isolated communication channels and configurable serial parameters makes it suitable for connecting PLC systems with legacy controllers, instruments, drives, meters, modems and other serial field equipment.
