RH914TD is the part number associated with the Foxboro FBM207, a discrete-input interface designed for voltage monitoring within the Foxboro DCS environment. It provides 16 isolated input channels and converts field electrical states for communication through the FBM Fieldbus.

The FBM207 accepts two-wire field inputs and performs the signal conversion required to interface electrical input signals with the Foxboro DCS Fieldbus.

The module can operate as a single unit or as part of a redundant FBM arrangement.

VOLTAGE MONITORING

The FBM207 supports voltage-monitoring inputs from 15 to 60 VDC. Appropriate termination assemblies also support 120 VAC / 125 VDC and 240 VAC input arrangements.

High-voltage termination assemblies provide the required signal conditioning and optical isolation.

EVENT PROCESSING

The module supports Discrete Input, Ladder Logic, Pulse Count and Sequence of Events functions, with configurable input filtering.

Filter/debounce choices include no filtering, 4, 8, 16 and 32 ms.

Can RH914TD be used with both low-voltage and higher-voltage field inputs? Yes, but the termination assembly must match the field signal. FBM207 voltage-monitoring supports 15–60 VDC directly, while suitable termination assemblies provide arrangements for 120 VAC/125 VDC and 240 VAC.	What should be checked before replacing RH914TD in an existing FBM207 installation? Verify the existing FBM type, termination assembly, field-voltage arrangement, baseplate position and whether the installation is single or redundant. The termination assembly is a key part of the input configuration.
Does RH914TD support redundant operation when process availability is important? Yes. The FBM207 can be installed as a redundant pair. Redundant modules use adjacent baseplate positions and a redundant adapter, allowing the two modules to share the associated termination arrangement.	Is RH914TD suitable when individual input isolation is required? The FBM207 provides galvanic isolation between each input channel and the other channels and ground. This architecture is useful where independent discrete field signals must be kept electrically separated.
Can RH914TD be considered for sequence-of-events applications? The FBM207 supports Sequence of Events functions.
