P0926GV belongs to the FBM231 family of Field Device System Integrator modules. In a redundant configuration, two FBM231 modules operate as a pair: one serves as the Master and the other as the Tracker.
The system can automatically switch module roles when the I/O driver detects an actual problem, while manual role switching is also available through SMDH.
The module collects field-device data, performs required data conversion through the loaded driver, and makes the resulting data available to Foxboro control-station functions and operator displays.
