The FBM201B converts low-level dc sensor signals into digital process values for the Foxboro 200 Series I/O subsystem. Every channel is galvanically isolated from the other channels and ground, supporting stable measurement in demanding process environments.

Q2	Are the channels isolated from one another? Yes. Each channel is galvanically isolated from the other channels and ground.
Q3	Can FBM201C replace FBM201B? No direct substitution should be assumed. Their nominal input ranges are different and the complete installed configuration must be checked.
Q4	How does the module communicate? It uses the redundant 2 Mbps module fieldbus and can continue on the active path if the other path is unavailable.
