The 330881-28-05-050-03-02 is a metric PROXPAC XL proximity transducer configuration combining a 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe and its Proximitor sensor within a self-contained housing. The selected configuration uses a 50 mm standoff adapter, 50 mm probe penetration, one M20 fitting with two plugs, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread.

PROXPAC XL places the 3300 XL Proximitor sensor in the housing with the probe, creating a self-contained proximity transducer arrangement. This removes the conventional probe-to-Proximitor extension cable and allows field wiring to connect directly between the monitor and the assembly.
SELF-CONTAINED ARCHITECTURE
Probe and Proximitor sensor are integrated into the PROXPAC XL assembly.
DIRECT FIELD WIRING
The assembly eliminates the separate probe-to-Proximitor extension cable arrangement.
PPS HOUSING

The PROXPAC XL family is built around the 3300 XL proximity sensing architecture. The 330881 family is the metric version, while the 3300 XL platform also includes separate 8 mm probe, extension-cable and Proximitor sensor arrangements. The PROXPAC XL approach packages the probe and Proximitor sensor together, reducing the number of field-level connections compared with a conventional separate-probe arrangement.

05 / APPLICATION FIELD
Designed for rotating machinery monitoring
Eddy-current proximity systems measure the distance between the probe tip and a conductive machine surface without physical contact. The 3300 XL 8 mm architecture is used for dynamic vibration and static position measurements, particularly on machinery using fluid-film bearings.
