The 330876-01-10-00-00 is a straight-exit, non-contact proximity probe in the Bently Nevada 3300 XL 50 mm system. Its extended linear range makes it suited to large axial movements where standard proximity probes do not provide sufficient travel.

FIELD QUESTIONS

Before installation

Is this part a complete transducer system?

No. This part number identifies the 330876 probe. A compatible 330877 extension cable and 330878 Proximitor Sensor are required for a complete 5 m or 9 m system.

What does the 01 case option mean?

It specifies the straight-exit probe case with a ½-20 thread and locknut.

Where does the linear range begin?

The official system specification states approximately 1.3 mm from the target, extending to about 29.2 mm.

Can it be used with another 3300 XL probe family?

No. The 50 mm probe, extension cable and Proximitor Sensor must all be matching 3300 XL 50 mm components.

What should be checked before ordering?

Confirm the full suffix, thread, probe length, armor requirement, approval requirement, system length and target material.

Why is target material important?

Published accuracy is based on an AISI 4140 steel target. Other materials may require factory calibration.
