YOKOGAWA ANT502-50 Optical ESB Bus Repeater Slave Module

ANT502-50 is the slave module in the Yokogawa 5 km Optical ESB Bus Repeater arrangement. It receives the optical communication path and works with the ANT401 master side to extend ESB bus transmission through optical fiber.

ANT502-50 is the slave side of the optical repeater architecture. The complete 5 km path uses the master repeater on one side and the slave repeater on the remote side, linked through optical fiber.

Both are supported installation contexts. ANT502 is installed as a standard slave module in ANB11□ optical ESB bus node units and can also be installed in ANT10U, depending on the architecture.

The HU variants include an HKU interface. This is useful when cabinet temperature and fan monitoring functions are required as part of the installation.

/BU1A provides the connector unit with the ESB bus connector, while /BU1B is the connector-unit configuration without the ESB bus connection. The appropriate choice depends on how the module is integrated into the node.

ANT502-50 belongs to the 5 km optical repeater family. For a requirement beyond 5 km, the ANT411/ANT512 family is the more relevant Yokogawa family because it is designed for optical ESB extension from 5 km to 50 km.
