Can TRICONEX 3505E replace a 3503E in an existing 24 V field circuit?
Not automatically. Both belong to the 32-point commoned TMR input family, but the 3503E is specified for 24 VAC/VDC, while the 3505E is a 24 VDC low-threshold module. The switching thresholds are also different. Replacement should therefore be checked against the actual field supply and signal characteristics.
