The PLX51-DNPS is a DNP3 gateway configured as an Outstation or Slave. It provides intelligent routing between DNP3 and EtherNet/IP or Modbus, supporting both Ethernet and serial communications. For Logix integration, the gateway can write directly into Logix tags, avoiding the need to copy or map data in the controller.

◆ Protocol Layer DNP3 Outstation / Slave with EtherNet/IP and Modbus Master/Slave support.	◇ Network Resilience DLR support is available for EtherNet/IP network architectures.
○ Event Handling Onboard storage supports up to 900,000 DNP3 events, with unsolicited reporting supported.	+ Diagnostics Diagnostics, statistics and a DNP3 traffic analyzer assist troubleshooting and fault analysis.
