The X-BASE PLATE forms the mechanical and electrical foundation of the HIMax programmable electronic system. It accommodates HIMax modules and connector boards while integrating redundant power distribution and the system-bus structure required for modular controller configurations.

The HIMA X-BASE PLATE is part of the HIMax programmable electronic system and is designed as the mounting platform for HIMax modules. The base-plate family includes versions with 10, 15 or 18 slots, allowing the rack structure to be selected according to the required controller configuration.

The first two positions are reserved for the system-bus modules. The remaining positions accommodate the applicable HIMax modules through corresponding connector boards. The architecture is intended for systems where availability, modularity and controlled replacement of hardware are important.
