PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The GE IC698CPE030 is a PACSystems RX7i Central Processing Unit designed for real-time control of machines, processes and material-handling systems.

The CPU uses a 600 MHz Pentium-M processor and provides 64 Mbytes of battery-backed user memory together with 64 Mbytes of non-volatile flash user memory for program, configuration and user data storage.

The controller communicates with I/O and smart option modules through the rack-mounted VME64 backplane and provides embedded Ethernet plus independent serial communications for programming, HMI and device connectivity.
