The GE IC695LRE001 is a Serial Bus Transmitter Module for the PACSystems RX3i platform. It provides the communication interface between an RX3i Universal Backplane and serial expansion or remote backplanes based on IC694 or IC693 hardware. The module translates the signal levels present on the Universal Backplane to the levels required by the serial expansion backplane. It is installed in the dedicated expansion connector at the right end of the RX3i Universal Backplane. Two green status indicators provide a direct visual indication of backplane power and expansion-bus communication activity. |
