GE IC693ALG392C 8-Channel Analog Current / Voltage Output Module

IC693ALG392C provides eight single-ended analog output channels. Each channel can be configured for current or voltage operation, making the module suitable for mixed analog control architectures within the Series 90-30 platform.

The module supports both 0–20 mA and 4–20 mA operation. Resolution is 0.625 μA per count in 0–20 mA mode and 0.5 μA per count in 4–20 mA mode.

Maximum current-mode load varies with the user supply, with the stated range extending from 850 Ω at 20 VDC to 1350 Ω at 30 VDC.

Voltage outputs can be configured for 0–10 V unipolar operation or −10 to +10 V bipolar operation, with 0.3125 mV per count resolution.

Voltage output loading is specified at 5 mA with a minimum 2 kΩ resistance requirement and maximum output capacitance of 1 μF.

Current-mode accuracy is specified at ±0.1% FS typical and ±0.25% FS maximum at 25°C, with ±0.5% FS maximum across the operating temperature range. Voltage-mode accuracy is ±0.25% FS typical and ±0.5% FS maximum at 25°C, with ±1.0% FS maximum across the operating temperature range.

The module uses the PLC +5 VDC backplane supply and a nominal +24 VDC user supply. Field-to-backplane and frame-ground isolation is optically implemented, with 250 VAC continuous isolation and 1500 VAC for one minute.

The PLC application calculates or commands the desired analog process value.

Converts the controller's digital command into eight selectable current or voltage output channels.

Compatible actuators, drives, valves, controllers and other receiving devices can use the analog signal.
