The GE Fanuc IC693MDL753H is a Series 90-30 discrete DC output module designed for high-density machine control. IC693MDL753H provides 32 discrete DC outputs in four groups of eight, so it is suited to applications where point density and grouped field wiring are important. Replacement suitability still depends on the existing slot configuration, load voltage, current and wiring arrangement.
Each point is rated up to 0.5 A, while the group limit is 4 A and the common-pin limit is 3 A. The actual load combination must therefore be checked at both the individual-point and group/common levels.
Yes, the 32 points are divided into four groups of eight with separate commons. This grouping allows field loads to be organized by functional or power-distribution section rather than treating all 32 points as one common group.
Confirm the actuator voltage falls within the 10.2–28.8 VDC output range, the steady-state current remains within 0.5 A per point, and the combined group/common loading remains within the stated limits. Inrush behavior should also be considered for inductive or high-start-current loads.
IC693MDL753H is the discrete output side and sends switching commands to field loads. IC693MDL655H is the discrete input side and accepts field signals into the PLC. They serve opposite directions of the same control architecture and should not be treated as direct substitutes.
