Field Signals Into Distributed Control

The IC670MDL241 receives AC discrete signals from field devices and presents the resulting input states to the host side of a GE Field Control station.

The module itself receives operating power through the Bus Interface Unit, while the field input groups use external 240 VAC power. The Bus Interface Unit provides the interface through which input data reaches the host or local processor.
