The IC660BBA101 is intended for RTD-based temperature acquisition within Genius distributed I/O architectures. It accepts Platinum, Nickel and Copper RTDs and processes the measured resistance into usable engineering values.

How do I distinguish the IC660BBA101 from the IC660BBA021 when selecting a replacement?
Both are six-channel RTD blocks, but the power architecture is different. IC660BBA101 is the 115 VAC / 125 VDC version, while IC660BBA021 belongs to the 24/48 VDC RTD family. The installed control cabinet power system should therefore be checked before substitution.
