GE IC200MDL650L 32-Point 24 VDC Positive / Negative Logic Input Module

IC200MDL650L receives 32 discrete DC input signals within a VersaMax node. The inputs are organized into four groups of eight, with each group supporting either positive-logic or negative-logic arrangements.

The module operates from the VersaMax backplane and does not require an external field power supply for its own module operation.

The 32 points are divided into four groups of eight. Each group has a common connection, allowing field circuits to be organized according to the application's power and signal arrangement.

Positive-logic inputs receive current from the input device and return it through the common. Negative-logic inputs receive current from the common and return it to the field device.

The basic input response is 0.5 ms. CPU configuration can add 0 ms, 1.0 ms or 7.0 ms of filtering, resulting in total response times of 0.5 ms, 1.5 ms or 7.5 ms respectively. The 1.0 ms filter is the default.

The specified ON range is +15 to +30 VDC and the OFF range is 0 to +5 VDC. This separation provides a defined operating window for discrete field signals.

Discrete field devices provide ON/OFF conditions to the VersaMax input group.

Accepts 32 DC input states through four groups of eight and transfers the states toward the CPU/NIU.

The controller uses these states for sequencing, interlocking, monitoring and process control.
