The IC695ALG704 is a four-channel non-isolated analog output module for the PACSystems RX3i platform. Each channel can be configured for voltage or current output, making the module suitable for control loops where PLC output data must be converted into proportional field signals for process or machine equipment.

The module provides four independently configurable analog output channels. Voltage and current ranges can be selected through software configuration rather than physical module jumpers.

The output architecture includes configurable scaling, offsets, alarm handling, clamping and output behavior when the PLC changes from Run to Stop.

IC695ALG704 is designed specifically for the PACSystems RX3i architecture. Installation planning should account for the universal backplane requirement, CPU firmware level and separate field-side power supply.

Universal Backplane
The module must be installed in an RX3i Universal Backplane and occupies one backplane slot.
CPU Firmware
An RX3i CPU with firmware version 3.0 or later is required.
External Field Power
The module requires an external +24 VDC supply connected directly to its terminal block.

The IC695ALG704 uses a terminal block for field connections, and the terminal block is ordered separately. Extended terminal blocks provide additional shroud depth for shielded wiring arrangements.

The module is non-isolated at the analog channel level. Cable shields should be handled according to the installation grounding arrangement rather than assuming channel-to-channel isolation.
