Descripution

The Allen-Bradley 1746-OG16 has voltage category of 5V DC TTL signal input (sinking). This module has Sixteen (16) TTL outputs and. This output module, similar to the input module, has an inverted logic. To properly operate a TTL module, a NOT instruction is needed to be negated the naturally inverted logic.

Parameters may be modified for a custom defined operation; however, the default operation is already set for an acceptable operation. Through this data table, individual channels may be monitored or FORCED activated. The data table may be viewed in different ways such as binary, decimal, octal and hexadecimal. During actual programming, the data table allows drag and drop operation.

It is inserted to a slot of a SLC 500 chassis. This is a single slot module that connects to the backplane where it receives power to energize its electronic circuitry. This module requires an external 5VDC power supply to enable the output circuitry. The Sixteen (16) channel has a single common terminal at +VDC terminal.
