Adjustable Frequency AC Drive

The 1305 family combines programmable V/Hz control, configurable acceleration and deceleration, multiple stopping modes, current limiting and electronic motor overload protection in a compact AC drive platform.

At 380 V input, its rated output current is 4.0 A; at 415 V and 460 V, the corresponding listed current capability is higher than the 380 V base value, subject to the applicable drive conditions and derating requirements.

Designed Around Control

The 1305 architecture provides more than basic frequency conversion. Its control functions include programmable V/Hz operation, DC boost, current limiting, multiple stopping modes, preset speeds and configurable input/output behavior.

The 1305-BA04A is specifically rated at 1.5 kW / 2 HP in the 380–460 V three-phase group, with a listed 4.0 A output rating at 380 V. Selecting a lower-rated model can leave insufficient current capacity for the intended motor duty.
Q2. Can the 1305-BA04A accept both 0–10 V and 4–20 mA speed references?
Yes. The Bulletin 1305 control architecture provides both 0–10 V DC and 4–20 mA analog inputs. The two inputs have different input impedances and are non-isolated, so the signal source and grounding arrangement must be evaluated during integration.
Q3. What should be checked before replacing an existing 1305-BA04A with another 1305 drive?
Verify the incoming voltage class, motor full-load current, required horsepower, enclosure, installed HIM configuration, active communication adapter and control-source arrangement. Matching only the catalog number family is not enough when the original installation uses optional interfaces.
