Control performance for expanding applications
The ABB PM866AK01 is a processor unit in the AC 800M controller family. It combines CPU processing, memory, real-time clock functions, LED status indication, an INIT push button and a CompactFlash interface on the CPU board. The TP830 baseplate provides two RJ45 Ethernet connections for the Control Network and two serial connections. COM3 supports RS-232C modem-control signals; COM4 is isolated and intended for a configuration tool. For application sizing, ABB lists up to 32 applications per controller and cycle times down to 1 ms for application programs. Actual capacity and timing depend on the control project and configured workload. |
