Built for established control installations
PM861AK01 is an AC 800M processor-unit kit based on the PM861A CPU. It is often considered when maintaining a control installation whose application engineering, I/O arrangement and operating practices are already built around the classic PM861A platform. The kit configuration includes the PM861A CPU and TP830 baseplate, together with CEX-Bus, ModuleBus and RCU-Link termination items and a battery for memory backup. A kit should not be treated as identical to a bare CPU offered without its accessories. When planning a replacement, check the controller revision, firmware, application backup, connected communication modules and I/O bus arrangement. A similar-looking processor from another AC 800M family does not automatically provide a drop-in replacement. |
