|
The AAI143 receives 4–20 mA field signals through 16 isolated input channels. Its specified accuracy is ±16 μA, with a 10 ms data update period. Input current is permitted up to 24 mA, while the field-to-system withstand voltage is specified at 1500 V AC for one minute.
Each channel can be configured for a 2-wire or 4-wire transmitter by setting pin. The module can also be used in a dual-redundant configuration, making the model relevant where signal acquisition and continuity need to be considered together.

AAI143 is the isolated current-input member of Yokogawa's analog I/O range for FIO systems. The series provides different suffix combinations so the input function, explosion-protection configuration, environmental option and field-side interface can be matched to the installation. |

When HART capability is part of the requirement
The “-H” suffix is specifically associated with digital communication using HART protocol. This makes the H50 configuration relevant when the existing control architecture requires HART-capable analog input handling, rather than only conventional 4–20 mA signal acquisition. |
When the field interface already uses AEA4D
The /K4A00 option specifies the ATK4A-00 KS Cable Interface Adapter for connection to an AEA4D terminal board. For replacement projects, checking the existing terminal-board and cable arrangement is therefore an important part of model selection. |

When redundant operation is considered
AAI143 can be used in a dual-redundant configuration. This makes the module relevant to installations where maintaining the signal-acquisition path is part of the control-system design. |
