FTM: The 5466-316 is associated with the 5501-371 MicroNet Simplex MPU & AIO FTM.
Woodward's newer replacement HDCombo modules use different FTMs and require configuration changes. Therefore, the 5466-316 should not be treated as a simple one-for-one replacement with newer modules without checking the installed MicroNet architecture and application requirements.
WOODWARD 5466-316 is classified by Woodward as Non-Preferred.
Woodward defines Non-Preferred as not intended for new system installations. The module remains supported for retrofits, spares and repairs.
Woodward's 2024 notice lists an approximate inactive date of 2030, while also stating that future lifecycle dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
