Overview
The Ovation™ 16 Channel Thermocouple Input module provides an interface between the Ovation Controller and up to 16 thermocouple signals. This module has an integral temperature sensor for cold junction compensation. This 16 Channel Thermocouple Input module requires a four-module I/O base (part number – 5X00497G01). The thermocouple wires terminate to the “+” and “-” connections on terminal rows B and C of the four-module I/O base respectively. For the ungrounded thermocouples, the shield should be terminated at the D strip. For the field grounded thermocouples, the shield and thermocouple are grounded at the sensor site.
