The Triconex MP3101 is an outstanding high-performance main processor module designed specifically for leading safety

instrumented systems(SIS)such as the Triconex Trident and Tricon CX.As the core”brain”of the Triconex system to achieve the

highest safety integrity level(SIL 3),the MP3101 module is responsible for executing all safety logic programs,processing on-site

data from I/O modules,and generating precise control output instructions.It adopts Triconex’s globally renowned exclusive Triple

Modular Redundancy(TMR)architecture,which integrates three completely independent processors and processing paths internally

(usually based on Motorola MPC860 processors),and uses a rigorous patent voting mechanism(i.e.”two out of three”voting)to compare

and verify the calculation results in real time,ensuring absolute accuracy,reliability,and uninterrupted operation of the calculations.
