Overview
The Triconex 4351A is a Tricon Communication Module (TCM) used in industrial automation for secure Ethernet and Modbus connectivity. It features four serial ports and two 10/100BaseT copper Ethernet ports, supporting protocols like Modbus TCP/IP, SNTP, and TSAA. It facilitates seamless Distributed Control System (DCS) integration and is designed to be hot-swappable.
Tricon Communication Module (TCM)
The Tricon Communication Module (TCM) enables a Tricon controller to communicate with Modbus devices (masters or slaves), a TriStation 1131 PC, a network printer, other Triconex controllers, and other external devices on Ethernet networks.
Each TCM has four serial ports, two Ethernet network ports, and one debug port (for Invensys use).
