Model 3603B is a Triple Modular Redundant digital output module for 120 VDC loads. Its 16 outputs are non-commoned and optically isolated, with independent output voting diagnostics, point status indication and field load/fuse alarms. The design targets high-integrity control of discrete loads while maintaining channel-level fault tolerance.

3603B Buyer FAQ
1. Can 3603B share a logical slot with 3603E or 3603T? No. These variants must not be mixed in the same logical slot.
2. Is 3603B a commoned output module? No. Its 16 outputs are non-commoned, so termination and point power differ from commoned 3603E/3603T arrangements.
3. What load current can 3603B switch? The maximum rating is 0.8 A per point, with a 4 A surge allowance for 10 ms.
4. Why can 3603B produce a short diagnostic pulse? Output voting diagnostics exercise the switch path; the pulse can reach 2 ms unless diagnostic pulsing is disabled through the supported function.
5. What should be verified before replacing 3603B? Confirm the 120 VDC load class, non-commoned wiring, termination assembly, per-point fuse arrangement, logical-slot partner and load sensitivity to diagnostic pulses.
