The ACE949-2 is a compact 2-wire RS-485 interface module for Schneider’s Sepam protection relays (series 20, 40, 60, 80).

It supports Modbus RTU communication over both the ELAN and SLAN lines.

The module accepts a rated supply voltage of 12 V DC or 24 V DC (±10%), with a current draw of 16 mA (receiving mode) or up to 40 mA (transmitting mode).

 It mounts on a DIN rail and has dimensions of approximately 88 × 72 × 30 mm and a weight of 0.1 kg.

For mechanical robustness, it meets shock, vibration, and earthquake standards per IEC 60255211/2/3.
