256 Digital I/O: 48 Vdc rated, solid-state triac outputs 150 % overload 1 min; hot-swap modules keep process alive during change-out.
Redundant Power: dual 100-240 Vac/dc inputs, 5 W loss, diode OR-ing; 0.99 availability in –20…+70 °C, 5-95 % RH non-condensing.
Cyber-Secure: AES-256 firmware signing, role-based access, syslog intrusion trap; meets NERC CIP & IEC 62351-6.

Application

Transformer differential & restricted earth-fault: processes 5-P-class CT inputs, 2nd-5th harmonic blocking, trips in 15 ms to limit through-fault damage.
Transmission line distance protection: Mho quadrilateral characteristics with load-encroachment restraint, auto-reclose logic and single-pole trip for 220 kV grids.
Generator loss-of-field & out-of-step: impedance circle + positive-sequence power voting, prevents pole-slip damage on 500 MW steam-turbine sets.
Busbar zone protection: high-speed 2 ms bus differential, CT saturation detector, distributed blocking over GOOSE for 132 kV GIS substations.
Motor management in FPSO vessels: locked-rotor, thermal model, differential; PROFINET to ABB ACS880 drives for coast-down restart, certified ATEX II 3 G Ex nA IIC T4.
