Built on a 32-bit 68360 microcontroller running at 25 MHz, the card executes real-time servo algorithms, sequencing logic and protection functions across triple-redundant I/O networks within an 8 ms frame. On-board 4 MB battery-backed SRAM retains critical set-points and trip logs for >72 h without power, while 2 MB of mirrored flash stores firmware revisions validated by GE’s OEM release matrix. Dual RS-232/485 9-pin ports enable local ToolboxST configuration and remote Modbus-RTU plant integration, and a front-panel 7-segment LED gives at-a-glance CPU health.
