Thirteen machinery-condition channels in one I/O module
IS420PVIBH1B is a Mark VIe vibration monitor I/O module that interfaces machinery-condition sensors with the control system. Its thirteen-channel structure supports eight vibration channels, four position channels and one Keyphasor or proximity channel. Signal conditioning, acquisition and Ethernet communication are combined with an approved TVBA terminal-board arrangement.

Sensor Acquisition and Machinery Protection Path
Channels 1–8 These channels accept supported vibration and proximity sensor signals for radial vibration and other configured machinery measurements. Sensor type, gain, filtering and bias settings must match the installed transducer.
Channels 9–12 Four position channels support proximity-based shaft-position measurements. Wiring polarity, probe system scale factor and gap behavior must be confirmed before returning the channel to service.
Channel 13 The final channel supports a Keyphasor phase-marker or proximity function according to the engineered configuration. Its assignment affects speed, phase and tracking calculations.
Probe and buffered paths The approved terminal arrangement provides negative probe power and buffered signal paths. Probe supply is nominally -24 VDC, with the permitted electrical limits governed by the complete assembly.
Network delivery Dual Ethernet paths carry acquired values and diagnostics to the Mark VIe controller. In redundant systems, pack and network assignments must remain consistent across the configured channels.
Terminal-board matching Use the approved TVBA/WNPS arrangement for the installed revision. Preserve connector routing, BNC or D-shell buffered-output usage, probe power hardware and terminal-board revision during replacement.

PURCHASING QUESTIONS
IS420PVIBH1B FAQ
01
How many measurement channels does IS420PVIBH1B provide? It provides thirteen channels: eight vibration channels, four position channels and one channel configured for Keyphasor or proximity use.
02
Can IS420PVIBH1B be replaced without checking the terminal board? No. Confirm the TVBA revision, WNPS or integrated negative-power arrangement, connector routing, sensor types and system software before replacement.
03
What should be verified for probe power on IS420PVIBH1B? Verify the approved negative probe-power arrangement, nominal -24 VDC output, wiring polarity and the current requirement of each connected sensor system.
04
Does IS420PVIBH1B support redundant Mark VIe installations? Yes, approved hardware can be arranged for simplex or TMR service. The I/O pack count, terminal board, network assignments and channel configuration must match the project.
05
What commissioning checks are important for IS420PVIBH1B? Confirm sensor gap, vibration amplitude, position values, Keyphasor response, buffered outputs, Ethernet health, channel diagnostics and configured alarm or trip behavior.
