Connects an RX3i controller to Ethernet for programming, controller communication and supported TCP/IP services. Both RJ45 connectors share one module network identity.
Network behavior: the two ports operate through an internal switch and use one MAC address and one IP address.
2 Shielded RJ45 ports
10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet
3.3 V RX3i backplane
International Delivery on the Day | Quick Response Support Intercontinental Cooperation Network
IC695ETM001-LBAA belongs to the PACSystems RX3i IC695ETM001 Ethernet interface family. It connects an RX3i controller to an Ethernet network for controller communication, programming access and supported TCP/IP services. Two shielded RJ-45 ports share one network interface, one MAC address and one IP address through an internal switch.
Ethernet services The module supports SRTP communication and Modbus TCP server/client operation. Compatibility depends on the controller release, configuration and communicating devices used in the installed system.
Two ports, one interface The two Ethernet connectors are connected through an internal switch. They do not create two independent Ethernet interfaces; both ports use the same module network identity.
Redundant IP operation A shared redundant address can be configured for corresponding Ethernet modules in redundant controller arrangements. Application logic controls which active unit uses that address.
Commissioning checks Confirm the slot, backplane power budget, IP configuration, firmware compatibility and partner settings. Review all LEDs and test the intended communication path before returning the process to service.
SYSTEM RELATIONSHIP
Where ETM001 Fits in an RX3i Architecture
RX3i CPU Executes application logic and exchanges controller data with the ETM001 across the RX3i backplane.
Network partners May include engineering stations, HMIs and compatible PACSystems, Series 90 or VersaMax controllers.
Selection advantage: use the ETM001 when an RX3i application needs a dedicated modular Ethernet interface with built-in switching and Station Manager access. It is not a substitute for an embedded CPU Ethernet port without checking the configured network services and backplane requirements.

PURCHASING FAQ
Five Questions Buyers Ask Before Ordering
How should IC695ETM001-LBAA compatibility be checked before purchase?
Match the full module marking, hardware revision, installed CPU firmware, programming configuration, backplane type and required Ethernet services. A similar ETM001 revision should not be assumed interchangeable without this check.
Do the two IC695ETM001-LBAA RJ-45 connectors provide two independent IP addresses?
No. The ports are connected through the internal switch and belong to one Ethernet interface with one MAC address and one normal IP address.
Can IC695ETM001-LBAA support a redundant controller network address?
The ETM001 family supports configurable stand-alone Redundant IP operation in compatible redundant arrangements. The controller application determines which active unit can use the shared address.
What should be recorded before replacing IC695ETM001-LBAA?
Record the normal and redundant IP settings, subnet and gateway values, slot assignment, firmware level, partner configuration and the state of the diagnostic LEDs.
What should be tested after installing IC695ETM001-LBAA?
Confirm module and LAN status, port activity, controller communication, engineering access and every required SRTP or Modbus TCP path before releasing the system for operation.
