Q1. Why does PR9268/207-100 need to be matched by its complete suffix?
Because the PR9268 ordering structure encodes the sensor orientation, cable selection and cable-end arrangement. Q2. Is PR9268/207-100 intended for shaft displacement measurement?
No. The PR9268 is an electrodynamic velocity sensor for absolute vibration measurement, particularly machine case or bearing-housing vibration. Shaft displacement measurement is a different sensing function and should not be substituted simply because both technologies are used for rotating machinery monitoring.
