A non-contact eddy-current sensing platform for critical rotating machinery. The PR6424 family is intended for measurement of radial and axial shaft dynamic displacement, shaft position, eccentricity and speed/key functions when paired with the appropriate signal-conversion chain.

PR6424 family

The PR6424 family is the 16 mm sensor platform within Emerson's PR642x eddy-current measurement range. Different PR6424 variants can use different configuration, cable and measurement-chain arrangements.

PR6423

8 mm-class eddy-current sensor family used where a smaller sensing diameter is appropriate.

16 mm eddy-current platform with a 4 V/mm sensitivity specification and a nominal center air gap of approximately 2.7 mm.
