PR6423/002-0308 mm Eddy Current Displacement Sensor
The PR6423 series is a non-contact eddy current sensing solution for dynamic shaft displacement, position, eccentricity and speed measurement on critical rotating machinery. The PR6423 design is intended for demanding turbomachinery monitoring applications where stable, wear-free measurement is required. PRECISION WITHOUT CONTACT
Designed for continuous monitoring of shaft motion while avoiding mechanical contact with the rotating target.

FIELD APPLICATION
Where PR6423/002-030 FitsPR6423 sensors are used where non-contact measurement of rotating shafts is required. Typical machinery includes steam turbines, gas turbines, hydro turbines, compressors, gearboxes, pumps and fans. Typical monitoring tasks include radial or axial shaft movement, shaft position, eccentricity and rotational speed. These measurements can support machinery protection and condition monitoring when integrated with the appropriate converter and monitoring system. |

| Can PR6423/002-030 be used for critical turbine shaft monitoring?
Yes. The PR6423 series is designed for critical turbomachinery applications including steam, gas and hydro turbines, as well as compressors, gearboxes, pumps and fans. The non-contact principle is suited to continuous shaft-motion measurement.

| Is PR6423/002-030 appropriate when the available shaft diameter is relatively small?
The PR6423 specification gives a minimum shaft diameter of 25 mm. The actual installation should also account for probe position, target material, mounting arrangement and required measurement geometry.
