The 3300 5 mm transducer system is intended for noncontacting measurements where direct observation of shaft motion is required. Bently Nevada identifies vibration and position measurement on fluid-film bearing machines as primary applications.
Provides noncontacting dynamic vibration measurement of rotating shafts.
Supports static position measurement within machinery monitoring systems.
The 3300 5 mm system can be used for Keyphasor measurement applications.
Suitable for specified speed and tachometer measurement applications.
When a proximity probe signal becomes unavailable, unstable or inconsistent with the expected machine condition, the probe and associated transducer chain can become an important inspection point. Loss of reliable shaft vibration or position information can reduce the ability of the monitoring system to identify developing machinery conditions and may increase the operational risk of critical rotating equipment.
Eddy-current proximity technology measures the distance between the probe tip and a conductive target without physical contact.
The 3300 XL probe, extension cable and Proximitor sensor are designed as an interchangeable transducer system.
Gold-plated ClickLoc connectors use a locking mechanism designed to prevent loosening and require no special installation tools.
Our team focuses on hard-to-find automation and machinery-monitoring components, helping maintenance teams identify the required part quickly and arrange efficient international delivery.
The 3300 5 mm transducer system supports noncontacting static position and dynamic vibration measurements, with applications also including Keyphasor and speed measurement.
Bently Nevada identifies the smaller 5 mm physical package as useful where physical mounting constraints prevent the use of an 8 mm probe, such as restricted spaces around thrust-bearing pads.
The specified recommended gap setting is 1.27 mm (50 mils), with a linear range extending approximately from 0.25 to 2.3 mm.
The official ordering structure identifies option 02 as a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with standard cable.
The factory calibration default for the Proximitor Sensor is AISI 4140 steel. Calibration for other target materials is available as specified by the manufacturer.
Check the complete transducer chain, including probe installation, connector condition, extension cable and Proximitor sensor, before treating the signal as a machinery-condition change.
Selected industrial automation and control components for maintenance, replacement and system-support requirements.
With a broad range of industrial automation components and an experienced multilingual support team, AMIKON focuses on helping customers locate difficult-to-find parts and arrange efficient international supply. Our goal is simple: make the replacement process clearer, faster and easier for maintenance teams working under production pressure.
