Where the 3300 5 mm System Fits

The 3300 5 mm transducer system is intended for noncontacting measurements where direct observation of shaft motion is required. Bently Nevada identifies vibration and position measurement on fluid-film bearing machines as primary applications.

Why a 5 mm probe?
Its smaller physical package can be useful where physical constraints prevent the use of an 8 mm probe, including restricted mounting spaces such as between thrust-bearing pads.
