Can 330104-00-14-05-02-00 be used as a direct replacement when the existing probe is shorter?
The 330104-00-14-05-02-00 has a 140 mm case length and 0 mm unthreaded section. A shorter existing probe should not be replaced solely by matching the 8 mm diameter. The available mounting depth, probe position relative to the shaft, M10 × 1 interface and cable routing should all match the existing installation.
Does 330104-00-14-05-02-00 require a separate Proximitor Sensor?
Yes. The probe is a sensing component rather than a complete standalone transducer system. A compatible 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and the appropriate system connection are required to form the complete measurement chain.
Is the 0.5 m cable on 330104-00-14-05-02-00 the same as a complete 5 m transducer system?
No. The 05 configuration specifies a 0.5 m probe cable. A complete 3300 XL transducer system can include the probe, an extension cable and a Proximitor Sensor. The total system length therefore depends on the complete combination rather than the probe cable alone.
Why does shaft diameter matter when selecting 330104-00-14-05-02-00?
The 3300 XL 8 mm system specifies a minimum shaft diameter of 50.8 mm / 2 in and recommends 76.2 mm / 3 in or larger. Smaller shaft diameters can alter the scale factor, so the mechanical geometry should be checked before using the probe for radial vibration or position measurements.
What should be verified before ordering 330104-00-14-05-02-00 for an existing 3300 XL installation?
Confirm the complete part number and especially the 8 mm probe format, M10 × 1 mounting interface, 140 mm case length, 0 mm unthreaded section, 0.5 m probe cable and ClickLoc connector configuration. The existing Proximitor Sensor and extension-cable arrangement should also be compatible with the intended 3300 XL 8 mm measurement chain.

The 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module is a full-height module that provides 16 relay outputs. You can place any number of 16-channel relay modules in any of the slots to the right of the Transient Data Interface (TDI) Module. Each output of the 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Module can be independently programmed to perform voting logic.
The 3500/60 & 61 modules provide six channels of temperature monitoring and accept both Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) and Thermocouple (TC) temperature inputs. The modules condition these inputs and compare them against user-programmable alarm setpoints. The 3500/60 and 3500/61 provide identical functionality except that the 3500/61 provides recorder outputs for each of its six channels while the 3500/60 does not.

The 3500/72M Recip Rod Position Monitor meets API 618 requirements for reciprocating compressors. It measures: l Rod position l Rod drop l Hyper-compressor The four-channel 3500/72M Recip Rod Position Monitor accepts input from proximity transducers, conditions the signal to provide dynamic and static position measurements, and compares the conditioned signals with userprogrammable alarms. Each channel, depending on how you configure it, typically conditions its input signal to generate various parameters called measured values.
The 3500/62 Process Variable Monitor is a 6-channel monitor for processing machine critical parameters that merit continuous monitoring, such as pressures, flows, temperatures, and levels. The monitor accepts +4 to +20 mA current inputs or any proportional voltage inputs between -10 Vdc and +10 Vdc. It conditions these signals and compares the conditioned signals to user-programmable alarm setpoints.
