01 / OVERVIEW

Built for Casing Vibration Measurement

The 200350 accelerometer is a general-purpose, case-mounted seismic transducer intended for machinery condition monitoring. Its piezoelectric sensing element generates charge when subjected to vibration, which is converted electronically into a differential voltage signal.

The measurement represents acceleration parallel to the sensitive axis. Proper installation on the bearing housing or machine casing is important because mounting conditions can affect amplitude and frequency response.

Where This Sensor Fits

The 200350 is designed for general-purpose machinery condition monitoring where casing or bearing-housing vibration is an important indicator of machine condition.

The 200350 and 200355 family is designed for use with Trendmaster Pro Constant Current Direct Input Card 149811-02 and Seismic Direct Input Card 164746-01.

A
Vibration increases
Changes in rotor vibration can be associated with common machinery conditions such as unbalance or misalignment.
B
Sensor signal becomes unreliable
Incorrect mounting can reduce amplitude and frequency response or create signals that do not represent actual vibration.
C
Monitoring continuity becomes critical
Operating outside specified limits can result in false readings or loss of machine monitoring.

04 / BUYER FAQ

Questions Buyers Usually Check

01
What makes the 200350-12-00-CN suitable for machinery vibration monitoring?
It is a general-purpose, case-mounted seismic accelerometer with a piezoelectric sensing element, 100 mV/g ±20% sensitivity and a 0.5–10,000 Hz frequency range.
02
Which mounting configuration should I verify before ordering?
The “12” mounting code corresponds to an M8 × 1.25 adhesive stud mount. This should be checked against the existing mounting arrangement before purchase.
03
What should I check if the vibration reading does not look correct?
Installation is an important first check. The sensor should be installed on the appropriate bearing housing or machine casing because incorrect installation can reduce amplitude and frequency response or produce false vibration signals.
04
Can this configuration be considered for harsh industrial environments?
The 200350 uses a welded hermetic stainless-steel housing and has an IP68 enclosure rating. Its specified operating temperature range is -54°C to +121°C.
05
What information should I send when requesting a replacement?
Please provide the complete part number, required quantity, destination, required date and the machine or system where the sensor will be installed. This helps verify the configuration before quotation.
