The Allen-Bradley NetLinx 1784-KTX card is a communication interface card. The shipment from the manufacturer should contain one communication card and one user manual. The 1784-KTX card is a half-sized ISA card which can be installed in a 16-bit ISA or EISA slot. The 1784-KTX card must never be installed in an 8-bit expansion slot. There is one channel on the 1784-KTX card. The card also acts as a remote I/O scanner. The 1784-KTX card can act as a node on the DH+ or DH-485 networks and they can connect directly to PLC-2/PLC-3 controllers.
