The Allen-Bradley 1771-NBSC is an I/O module belonging to the Allen-Bradley 1771-N series of output modules. It features six 4-20mA current inputs and two 0-25mA current outputs. The 1771-NBSC I/O module draws a maximum current of 2.6A from the chassis backplane and has a power consumption of 13W. It is compatible with Allen-Bradley PLC-3, PLC-5, and PLC-5/250 programmable controllers.
The input current range is 0.1 – 21 mA, with a 16-bit unipolar input resolution of 330nA/bit. The maximum input impedance is 300 ohms. The 1771-NBSC module supplies 20 – 30V DC (0-20mA) for the current loop. The module provides rated input overvoltage protection and is rated for 24V DC continuous operation. The 1771-NBSC module requires 5 seconds to detect an open input. It offers a minimum normal-mode rejection ratio of 50/60 dB and a typical common-mode rejection ratio of 150 dB. Offset drift and gain drift are ±200 nA/°C and ±95 ppm/°C, respectively. The 1771-NBSC has an input bandwidth of 9 Hz, calibrated to 1.000 mA/21.000 mA. Under-range and over-range thresholds are 3.2 mA and 21 mA, respectively.
