The FLXA21 uses a polycarbonate housing, anti-glare LCD touch screen and supports a 12-language display environment. The platform can be configured for single- or dual-sensor measurement depending on the selected input arrangement.

The A2SAT105 is an mV / thermocouple / RTD input adaptor used in the Yokogawa N-IO architecture for RIO system upgrade applications. The A2SAT105-S000 is the standard, non-explosion-protection, basic configuration within the A2SAT105 suffix structure.

Designed for field-side mV, thermocouple and three-wire RTD measurement within the N-IO upgrade architecture.

Built Around the N-IO Upgrade Path
A2SAT105 belongs to the N-IO I/O adaptor family used to connect field signals within a RIO system upgrade architecture. It is mounted on the A2BA3D nest and provides the interface for mV, thermocouple, RTD and potentiometer input applications.
For thermocouple applications using the M4 screw-terminal version of the A2BA3D, the S9393UK reference junction compensation module is required. The ELCO connector configuration provides mV input only.

01 · Can A2SAT105-S000 handle both thermocouple and RTD applications?
Yes. A2SAT105 is designed for mV, thermocouple, 3-wire RTD and 3-wire potentiometer inputs. The selected signal type and range are configured by software.
02 · Does A2SAT105-S000 require an RJC module for thermocouple input?
For thermocouple input on the A2BA3D M4 screw-terminal configuration, Yokogawa specifies the S9393UK reference junction compensation module. One module is required for each A2SAT105 used as thermocouple input.
03 · Is A2SAT105-S000 suitable when the installation needs a wide temperature option?
A2SAT105-S000 is the basic suffix configuration. The A2SAT105 family separately provides a temperature option for −40 to 70 °C. The required suffix should therefore be matched to the actual installation configuration rather than assuming the basic S000 code includes that option.
04 · Can A2SAT105-S000 be used with an ELCO connector configuration?
The ELCO connector configuration restricts A2SAT105 to mV input. Thermocouple use requires the M4 screw-terminal A2BA3D arrangement together with the specified reference junction compensation module.
05 · What should be checked before purchasing A2SAT105-S000 as a replacement?
Confirm the complete adaptor code, A2BA3D nest configuration, field signal type, connector arrangement and any required thermocouple reference-junction arrangement. For RIO upgrade installations, also verify the applicable N-IO hardware combination before replacement.
