When the I/O Bus
must stay connected

The 4701X belongs in the Tricon CX I/O expansion path where serial I/O Bus communication is required between the 8131X I/O Expansion Chassis and the connected TMR I/O Bus architecture.

Typical search trigger A replacement search can arise when the existing 4701X shows a fault condition, loses normal I/O Bus communication, or when a maintenance team needs an exact spare for an installed Tricon CX expansion chassis.	Why the part matters An interface fault can interrupt the communication path between the I/O expansion chassis and its I/O Bus.
