Triconex 3481S2 is a four-point TMR analog-output module for Trident and Tri-GP systems. Three electronic channels independently process each command before selector logic drives a controlled 4–20 mA field output.

01	TRIPLICATED CONVERSION	Three independent electronic channels receive data from their associated processors. Selector logic chooses the driving channel and shunts the other paths so they cannot disturb the output.
02	CURRENT-LOOP PERFORMANCE	Each of four common-return points provides controlled 4–20 mA output, specified over-range and low-current capability. Accuracy is below 0.25% of the 0–22 mA full-scale range.
03	LOAD AND POWER	External loop power is 24 VDC nominal and 32 VDC maximum with reverse-voltage protection. At more than 24 VDC, the specified load allowance reaches 700 ohms.
04	FSD AND HOT SPARE	Forced-switch diagnostics exercise the output paths. A leg failure produces a 1 ms typical, 3 ms maximum switch time. A hot-spare module can be configured.
05	TERMINATION CHOICE	2481S2 supports standard output use. 2483S2 adds HART, 2483AS2 supports hazardous-location HART arrangements, and the compatible external termination path uses the 9863-610F panel.
