PowerPC VME Processor Module
|
| Motorola MVME2304-0111 is an MVME2300-series VME processor module using a 333 MHz MPC604R PowerPC processor and 16 MB of ECC DRAM. The -0111 execution uses a Scanbe front handle and provides two PMC sites for application-specific expansion. The module combines PCI resources, VMEbus access, Ethernet and service interfaces in a single-slot computing platform. |

| FUNCTIONAL PATH | The MVME2304-0111 coordinates PowerPC processing, ECC memory, PCI peripherals and VMEbus transfers through its bridge architecture. Two PMC sites allow network, motion, storage or other application interfaces to be added without consuming separate VME slots. Onboard firmware, diagnostics, timers, Ethernet, NVRAM and real-time clock support embedded control and supervisory applications. |
